Although it is good to be home, I must admit, I wish I was still in Honduras. But you can't be on vacation forever, so back to the real world it is. In case some of you don't know the adventures we were a part of, there was some political unrest in Honduras and the day we were suppposed to fly in (Wednesday July 2) the disposed president was going to try and fly back into Honduras. Because of that we decided on Tuesday at 8:00 pm to change our flight and fly in on Wednesday July 1 instead. Frenzied packing began, getting a notorized letter in order to have proof that my nephew's parents knew we were taking their son out of the country, and leaving at 1:00 am to go to the airport. Needless to say, there was no sleep for Amos and I that night. We arrived with no problems and the president decided not to fly in Thursday after all. He did attempt a few days later, so the airport in Tegucigalpa was shut down from July 5-10. We were to fly out on July 10, so we changed our flight once again to Sat. July 11. We were in no danger and so it was nice to get an extra 2 days there at no extra cost. :-) Anyway, here are a few more pictures from our trip. Enjoy!

Karissa loved spending time with her cousins and of course being the center of attention!

We of course had to celebrate July 4th with hamburgers and hotdogs!

My nephew Zack graduating from kindergarten.

Karissa wanted to try on her Uncle Harlan's big boots..

Audrey, (my nieces and nephew's teacher), my sister and I we went to Expresso Americana in the village. I had a great frozen orange drink.
